This artwork is an evolution of something that I thought was finished during only one session over the Summer 2021. During the Spring 2022, I found myself feeling unsatisfied with where I left it and decided to re-approach it with fresh energy. This transformation is depicted here in chronological order.
Several introspective paint layers later, I landed on something much more fulfilling.
I've occasionally had desires to revisit my previous artworks, but have very rarely acted on them. I'm so glad that I followed my instincts this time, which led me on a rewarding journey filled with moments of clarity, peace and joy.
